About Zithromax
Zithromax (azithromycin) is a broad-spectrum antibiotic. It is the first of a new subgroup of macrolide antibiotics. Also has a bactericidal effect.
The following gram-positive bacteria are sensitive to Zithromax: Streptococcus pneumoniae, S. pyogenes, S. agalactiae, streptococci groups C, F and G, S. viridans, Staphylococcus aureus. Before taking this medicine
Zithromax can be taken one hour before meals or 2 hours after meals. The drug is taken one time a day.
